Ok kids, we made it back and here's a handfull of fun pics for your viewing pleaseure!  Snippet has them all over on her photobucket stream so if you want to see the rest, head over there.

A hearty hello to all the folks we met over in Pittsburgh and a good time was had by all both in and out of the convention.  What a beautiful city!  We were both wildly impress by how pretty it was an how nicely it smelled in comparrason to some other cities we could mention (We're glaring at you, Philly!) 

Due to unfortunate circumstances, we never made it over to the Artists Alley, so we're going to post a handfull of stuff on furbid and see of we get any nibbles that way.  Look for us over there in the very near future!

The two gentlemen above were friends of a very nice mouse who had way too much fun with our Twister game!  That gave Snippet wine for rum and it was a very nice trade.

All in all it was a rousing success and thanks to all that played and helped!  Especially Hoofer, Zephyr, and that Mouse Man, wherever he is... somewhere in South Carolina, I think...

Much business in regular life has kept us from updating but now here are some new pics of some new stuff...

Got the bits and bobs done for ears part 2 and tail part one as well as the faux rabbit foot redux...  The cats stole the proto-foot and I still haven't been able to find it!  Tarnation!

       Both done with markers and oil pastels. 

Spent some time today working up a grid for the giant twister mat at AC.  Used excel and represented 3 inches per square.  Came up with this design using the grid, the dimensions for a queen sheet that were found online and some autoshapes.



With any luck, this will make it much easier to create the dang thing in real life, however, hi-jinks will probably ensue anyways...

Also thinking of prizes for the folks who don't die during this event...  Probably a good idear to stock up on lovely blue bunny peeps like the ones in our userpic.  Everyone needs more peeps!  And besides, they have a shelf-life of 2 years!!!  So what if they ain't vegetarian (despite Dakota's grumbling) they're made of win and awesome.

Whew, ok so here's our first post! 

By way of introduction we are:

Snippet Blue and Dakota Blue - artists in the areas of, well, what have you got?  Between the two of us we can pretty much do it all from fine arts to graphic arts to fiber arts to found arts!  I don't think there's much that we haven't managed to get our hands, er, paws on.

Dakota is more of the fine arts girl, while Snippet is the crafty one.  This gives us a broad base to work with and it's fun to "bounce" ideas off of each other.  (Get it?  Bunnies bounce...?  Ok well, we're artsy, not so funny...) 

Anyway, our art ranges from G to NC-17 so we have a little something for folks of every taste.

Eventually, we'll have some pics of the stuff we do - once we get our cameras in gear and such.  Right now we're starting to gear up for Anthrocon 2009 in Pittsburgh.  We're hoping to get a spot in Artists Alley on Saturday and we put in to host Furry Twister a couple of times during the weekend so if anyone will be at the con please stop by and check out or stuff or just say hello as we are friendly folk and do not bite unless requested to.
